Sister Missionary

More and more missionaries are leaving for the mission field and this young woman is no exception!  She is my beautiful niece, Sister Buckley and she has been called to speak the Tagalog language in the San Pablo, Philippines mission.  Her brother is in Arizona serving as we speak.  How exciting for her family and what beautiful blessings they will receive having TWO missionaries in the field!  I am so proud of her and want her to know we will miss her, be praying for her, and know she will do AMAZING things!  Love you Audrey!

Aloha Baptism!

This little Hawaiian boy is 8 years old and ready to be baptized!  He reminded me how much I miss our old Primary class!  We had so much fun together!  We laughed...played...laid on the ground...and talked to strangers entering the temple... (sorry about the no talking to strangers mom!)

This boy is so full of happiness and excitement for his big day.  When asked what he was looking forward to the most he replied, "Getting the Gift of the Holy Ghost!"  That about sums it up I think!  Jordan...your old primary teachers LOVE you!  Remember to always look towards the Temple!

I LOVE this woman!  This is my great friend Cassie. She is a knockout as you can tell:)  We had talked about a stylized shoot for ages it seems like, but with me in school...it was a no go.  Finally, I had a little break! It was a fantastic shoot, the lighting was perfect, and the time spent together was irreplaceable.  Thanks Cassie for being my model, for being SO easy to work with, and for being patient with me while I got my vision.  XOXO

GREAT TO BE 8!

One of my very favorite things to do is capture the baptism day of 8 year olds.  To see how excited they get when you talk to them about the big step in their lives is indescribable.  I do admit, I have a special place in my heart for these guys cause they were my Primary kids...but nonetheless, I enjoy EVERY 8 year old I photograph!

I had the pleasure of watching 3 out of the 4 kids get baptized and it was a beautiful experience.  I hope they can look back at these pictures and remember this special day...always.

3 X the Baptism Fun!

This year my husband and I teach 13 beautiful children in Primary.  Here are just 3 of the darling boys next in line to be baptized.  I can't wait!
